Mrs. Eileen M. Campbell

Eileen Campbell, born on March 19, 1981, passed away July 1, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Campbell, devoted mother to her six children: Chris Campbell, Kiarra Felder, Caden Campbell, Corey Campbell, Cody Campbell, and Avery Perison. She was also a loving stepmother to her three stepchildren Kenneth Campbell III, Kaleb Campbell, and Tyler Campbell, cherished sister to her four brothers, the late Sean Maguire, Evan Maguire, Nikolas Kodros, and Alexander Kodros, as well as her two sisters, Amy Anselment and Elizabeth Maguire. Eileen was the daughter of Jane Weaver-Kodros and the late John Benton Maguire. Born and raised in Alton, Illinois, Eileen continued her academic journey with a heart for helping others, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. Her education reflected not only her intellect but also her deep commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Eileen was a woman of many passions, one of which was her unwavering love for country music. Whether driving down the road, spending time with family, or relaxing at home, country music was the backdrop to her life, offering her comfort, joy, and a sense of connection to the world around her. She also had a deep love for travel, particularly to Hawaii to visit her best friend Amie Kulp, where she found peace in the islands' natural beauty and tranquility. Eileen was a passionate athlete who spent her summers as a dedicated diver and gymnast with the Mid Illinois Jets Gymnastics and Dive Team. One of the greatest joys of Eileen’s life was being a grandmother. She cherished her precious granddaughter, Khe’Amani Spruill, lovingly calling her "stinky baby." The bond they shared was one of pure love, and Khe’Amani brought immense joy and light into her life. Above all, Eileen’s family meant everything to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and her strength, generosity, and nurturing spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Eileen was known for her infectious laughter, her deep compassion, and her ability to make others feel seen and loved. Her love and support were unwavering, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
